What therapeutic approaches and modalities are you trained in, and what do you utilize most often?I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches to cater to the diverse needs of my patients. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Among these, I most often utilize an integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic therapy, due to their evidence-based effectiveness in treating a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The structured, goal-oriented natures of CBT, alongside the potential for such a depth of awareness with Psychodynamic work make them an excellent pair. Each session is tailored to the individual, ensuring that the chosen modality aligns with their specific goals and circumstances, thus fostering a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.

Do you offer tele-therapy sessions? In today's largely digitalized and disconnected world, my preference is to treat with and get to know my patients in the office. I find that once the logistical hurdles are jumped, most people tend to prefer the experience as well. That said, virtual tele-therapy is of course an available option for those that cannot make it into the office. Legally, all of my patients must reside in NYS.

Do you accept insurance? As a clinician at The Talk Suite, I am an out-of-network therapist. It might be possible for you to take advantage of out-of-network benefits if you submit an invoice or Superbill (which I can produce for you) to your insurance provider.
